In class we watched two videos which were very interesting. One was about different places people call home. There were four different places: 1. Cat House 2. Underground Home 3. Alligator Man 4. Electronic Savvy Home. I thought all the homes were interesting and the people who lived in them. They all had a different out look on life and how they lived.
The other video was about this artist who created different types of sculptures with nature items. Stone sculptures, river sculptures, grass sculptures, ice sculptures, and flower sculptures. Although they weren't all sculptures....they were different types of artwork. I thought it was a great video to watch and I did enjoy watching it even though I was exhausted.

What If Round Robin
What if medical care was free? (Anticipated Dream)
I would not have to worry about going to the doctors or the dentists when I am sick or have a tooth ache because it would be free.
What if I drink more beer than water throughout my life? (That golB nayR Blog)
You would be totally wasted, you would have a beer belly, and that would just not be healthy!
What if there are no bosses at work? (Seeing Sideways: the New Media Eye)
Everything would be hectic and people would probably get nothing done.
What if the world at large did away with money? (ZAP’s Seeing Sideways Blog)
People would become better negotiators.
What if I lied? (Blinded Upwards)
People would not believe you or trust you.

Door Of Encouragement
If I received a doorway, I would make it an art structure. I would decorate it with words and quotes of encouragement then place it in the middle of the IUPUI campus. It would be an unusual door that would attract students. The students could walk through it, read it, and maybe be motivated by it.

I'm FIVE again!
After watching the video, I found it very interesting. The audience was asked to draw a picture of the person sitting next to them . Once the time was up, people were embarrassed to show their picture. If I was there I would be embarrassed because my drawing would have been chicken scratch. The speaker than said that as a child we were proud of our drawings and now as adults we are more self conscious. The audience was also asked to shoot finger blasters at the speaker. I thought this video was a good video because sometimes we need to be like children to be more creative. I remember one part of the video there were people sleeping on 3 chairs laid out and some people underneath them to get an idea of how to provide for people who wanted to sleep on the airplane.
When I was little, Aly and I use to make extravagant forts out of our twin bed mattresses. So, we decided to do again and act like we were five! We stood up two twin bed mattress and draped sheets over the mattress. We talked and hung out underneath our fort. We also tried to play some of the old hand clapping games we played as kids. It was a lot of FUN!

So Egg Think Egg Can Dance
Since, So You Think You Can Dance is one of my favorite TV shows I decided to make a video of my egg on a TV show called So Egg Think Egg Can Dance. The dancer's name is Emma and she somewhat dances on the show because she is an egg. There are also three judges on the show who are eggs and the only person in the show that is not an egg is Cat who is the host of the show. Just watch the video and you will understand what I mean.
Being Deaf is Just Not Working Out
So, I sat on the couch with my sister and we decided to watch the Titanic with subtitles and no sounds. We lasted about 5 minutes. It was horrible. I was trying to read as fast as I could and by the time I read what was going on the scene had already change. I thought maybe if Aly can't hear me I'll just text her and tell her how lame it is watching something without sound but she didn't even check her phone because she ignored the beep of the text. So, then I gave up!

RAM
I went to RAM for class tonight to network with people from Refresh Indy. I found it very interesting. I learned the difference between web designers and web developers. I originally thought that people who made web sites were all web designers. I found out that web designers were people who designed the layout of the website, while web developers are the people who do the code of the website such as html. I also enjoyed hearing how they all became web designers and developers. It was interesting to find out, that many of the web designers had no formal education. I had a great time at RAM and was glad to meet some of the people from Refresh Indy.

Culture Shock
Today's class was shocking. I am a business student of the Kelley School of Business experiencing a different aspect of learning. As Beth Lykins walked through the door, I was wondering why in the world was she not talking. Does she always greet her students with silence? She sat in her chair, still not saying a word, while students started asking her questions. She said nothing. My mind was racing to what on earth did I just get myself into! She then loaded up two sound clips that were voice mails to herself but projected through the sound system in the classroom.
The voice mails were talking about the past and the future. She said that she was not in the classroom but she really was....mind boggling. We were then asked through the sound of her voice from the speakers that we were suppose to discuss what we thought about TIME. Thoughts went racing through my head but I just could not form words to even describe time.
I thought as a business student time is important when going to interviews. In some of my previous businesses classes, if we were late we were considered as not in class. If we were not in class for so many days, we would be kicked out. As an athlete, I thought about time being a measurement. A millisecond is very valuable to an athlete because it determines whether or not you earn the first place medal. I also thought about previous websites and videos that I asked my sister, Aly, to make for a presentation for one of my business classes. Aly made me a commercial and I did not consider how much time it took her to make a 30 second commercial. Hey! It is only 30 seconds...how long can it take?? Little did I know that a video takes more than seconds, more than minutes, it takes days to make a video look the way it does when it reaches the end consumer.
Going to this class tonight was a culture shock. I am excited about what is to come and what I will learn to become more creative.
